St. Paul police donate 2 bicycles to family
Sunday, St. Paul police officers donated two bicycles to a local family.
St. Paul police said, one day, officers from the Western District saw a girl riding around on a bike that was unsafe. The officers set out to help and, soon, two bikes were donated.
Sunday, the officers dropped them off for the girl and her family.
The department said Police Chief Todd Axtell even stopped by with ice cream treats.
"Based on the smiles on the faces in the picture below, it appears that when you’re a child, few things are as magical as a bicycle, ice cream treats and getting to know the police officers that keep your neighborhood safe," the department wrote on social media.
