Abdihoosh was sentenced Monday on one count of second-degree murder without intent. Another charge—second-degree murder with intent—was dismissed.

As previously reported, Abdihoosh pleaded guilty as part of an agreement in May.

Online records state Abdihoosh will get credit for six days already served. He must also pay more than $14,000 in restitution to one victim, and $7,500 in restitution to a second victim.

According to a criminal complaint, Neadeau-Lyons hit Abdihoosh after he threatened to spit on his girlfriend. Abdihoosh then shot at Neadeau-Lyons, killing him.

Police say Abdihoosh turned himself in after the shooting.
