St. Paul Facebook group spreading smiles through little wishes

A Facebook group is spreading smiles in St. Paul. 

East Side Community Page & Neighbors created a wish list for people during this difficult time. 

A person can request or donate a small gift, usually just a few dollars.

Over the last month, the group has granted about 150 little wishes.

"Just knowing that you did something kind for a stranger that will make their day better is amazing," group member Molly Schuneman said. "To have something come to your house that's not a bill, or bad news just a spark of joy. It's felt really good to send that spark of joy out and make new friends, that's what community is about."

The group plans on granting little wishes through the end of July.
