St. Joseph man dies following motorcycle crash in St. Cloud

A 27-year-old man died in the hospital days after crashing a motorcycle in St. Cloud, police said.

According to the St. Cloud Police Department, Tyler Koopmeiners of St. Joseph suffered life-threatening injuries when he hit a curb and crashed around 2:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Ninth Avenue and 15th Street north.

Koopmeiers was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, police said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
