The St. Cloud Police Department said on Wednesday an investigation remains ongoing involving the disappearance of a Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin woman in 2016.
Shannah Marie Boiteau, who was 23 at the time of her disappearance on June 22, 2016, was last seen in the area of Interstate 94 and County Road 74. She is described as a white female, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 135 pounds and was wearing a tan tank top, black leggings and brown hair that was pulled up the last time she was seen.
At the time of her disappearance, Shannah was last seen running from a vehicle that was driven by her boyfriend. It's believed she had fled Wisconsin due to a warrant being issued for her arrest for a probation violation.
Police say they do not believe she knows anyone in the St. Cloud area and does not have a phone. She is noted to have a history of drug use and persons should use caution if they come into contact with her.
