St. Cloud homicide suspect arrested in Chicago, victim identified
The St. Cloud Police Department says that two men have been arrested in connection to a May 24 homicide.
Police arrested one man, 52-year-old Paul Coleman, two days after the incident in St. Cloud. The second homicide suspect, 42-year-old Alphonso Cotto, was not arrested until May 28, according to police.
Cotto had fled to Chicago, Illinois, where he is now in custody awaiting extradition to Stearns County on homicide charges, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.
Authorities have identified the victim as 38-year-old Michael John Batsche of St. Cloud.
Police say that this is still an active investigation.
