St. Cloud elementary school temporarily moving to distance learning due to COVID outbreak
An elementary school in St. Cloud is temporarily moving to distance learning due to several staff members and students in quarantine with COVID-19 cases, symptoms or exposure.
According to St. Cloud Area Schools, Clearview Elementary School will begin distance learning Thursday. The district plans to have Clearview students return to their regular hybrid schedule next Wednesday.
The district said grab-and-go meals can be picked up at any elementary school from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday and Monday. Two days’ worth of meals will be provided.
During the period of distance learning, further contact tracing, cleaning and risk analysis will be done.
