St. Paul Public Schools will continue providing free meals to all children ages 18 and under through this summer.

The district says meals will be available at more than 50 schools, recreation centers, libraries and community sites.

SPPS will also debut a new food truck at parks and community centers across the city.

“Proper nutrition plays a critical role in the growth and health of children,” Stacy Koppen, the SPPS director of nutrition services, said. “The SPPS Nutrition Services team is honored to continue to provide healthy, nutritious and fun meals to children in Saint Paul this summer.”

More details, including on the food truck’s schedule and special events, will be posted at a later time online.
