SPPS summer program aims to inspire girls future scientists and engineers
Bridge-building crash course
A summer program in St. Paul is aiming to inspire future scientists and engineers.
“Project Scientist” taught a group of fifth- to eighth-grade girls about what it takes to build a bridge last week.
The group even met with engineers at 3M.
Organizers say they’re trying to create the next generation of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) leaders.
