Significant injuries reported in semi, vehicle crash along I-94 in Rogers, Maple Grove area

A crash involving a semi truck and passenger vehicle temporarily closed Interstate 94 in the Rogers and Maple Grove area early Friday morning.

The interstate was temporarily shut down while crews were at the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported the two-vehicle crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. in a construction zone.

The driver of the passenger vehicle involved in the crash was transported via air care to North Memorial with significant injuries, according to the state patrol.

The crash remains under investigation.
