Shooting leaves woman critically injured in southeast Minneapolis

A woman is in the hospital in critical condition after she was shot Wednesday evening in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting just after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Malcolm and University avenues southeast.
Officers found the woman who had been shot and gave her medical aid until she could be taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance, police said.
Police say the shooting happened right outside Family Wise, a family support center on University Avenue.
No arrests have been made.
