Shooting injures 2 at East Phillips Park
Two victims are in the hospital after they were shot Thursday night at East Phillips Park, according to the Minneapolis Park Police.
Around 8:25 p.m. someone fired a gun from near 24th Street East and Cedar Avenue South, striking a 29-year old man and a 24-year-old man who were on the basketball court, Park Police said. The suspect drove then off from the scene.
Police say both of the victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday a 30-year-old woman was shot at a basketball court at the same park. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
