Sheriff’s office: Man tried to overturn utility workers’ equipment with Bobcat
A Dassel, Minnesota, man has been arrested after he attempted to overturn utility workers’ equipment and vehicles with a Bobcat.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received a report at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday about a man threatening utility workers from a Bobcat at a cell tower site on the 71200 block of 240th Street in Dassel Township.
The caller said the man attempted to overturn the workers’ equipment and vehicles.
When deputies arrived, they found the man returning home.
Authorities were able to identify the person as 67-year-old John Forsen. Forsen was arrested for probable cause second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence.
