Sheriff’s office asks for help identifying carjacking suspect
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a kidnapping and carjacking.
Last week, the sheriff’s office says a man forced a 61-year-old woman into her vehicle on the 3900 block of Northwoods Drive in Arden Hills, then forced her to drive to the intersection of East Franklin and 27th avenues in Minneapolis. Once there, he forced the woman to withdraw money from an ATM, took the money and told her to drive to Matthews Park, where he ran away.
