Sheriff's office: Barron County postal worker arrested for meth possession while on route
A postal worker was arrested for meth possession Monday in Barron County while on his route.
The Barron County Sheriff's Office said authorities executed a search warrant at a home near Chetek. During the search, officers located 21 grams of methamphetamine.
The owner of the home, identified by the sheriff's office as 66-year-old Tim Wilson, was not at the residence.
He was later found while on his mail route and was taken into custody. The sheriff's office said Wilson was found with an additional two grams of meth.
According to the sheriff's office, the street value of the meth seized is estimated to be about $2,300.
