Section of Co. Rd. B in Roseville to close for summer 2023 construction project
Next summer, drivers who travel along County Road B in Roseville will need to adjust their typical routes while a construction project closes off a section of the road.
Ramsey County says the reconstruction will close County Road B between Snelling and Lexington avenues.
Closures will affect traffic heading to several businesses and Roseville’s Lexington Park.
Project leaders are inviting those who will be affected to an open house from 5-7 p.m. on July 19 at the Roseville City Hall.
People will be able to give feedback on project plans, which are said to be in development for the summer 2023 overhaul.
The county says the goals of the project are improvements to pavement, medians, pedestrian safety standards and traffic signals. That means new pavement will be installed, pedestrian ramps will be updated and stoplights will be replaced. In addition, the county says the project will replace traffic signals at the intersections with State Farm Road, Hamline Avenue and Lexington Avenue.
The project will happen alongside water utility improvements in Roseville.
