School staff thanking parents for role in virtual learning

Parents are playing a big role in making virtual learning work. Staff at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School in Mound are taking time to thank moms and dads for their help.
School Principal Becky Kennedy is joining her team to deliver thank-you signs to families' homes. Kennedy said parents have gone the extra mile during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"They deserve it. Our parents are amazing, and they've totally just stepped up to it and said how can we help, and this is just one small token that we can do to show them that we care about them, and we appreciate what they're doing for us," Kennedy said.
On Friday they delivered more than 90 thank-you signs to parents.
