Savage woman killed in Scott County crash

A Savage woman died Sunday afternoon following a crash in Spring Lake Township.
A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says a 2021 Lexus NX was headed east on County Road 8 a 12:41 p.m. when it failed to stop at a stop sign before getting onto Highway 13. A 2012 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling north on Highway 13 struck the Lexus.
Two of the five people in the Lexus were injured and taken to a hospital but one died. The driver of the Chevrolet wasn’t injured.
The crash report identifies the woman killed as 47-year-old Tuy Srey. According to the report, Srey wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time.
The crash remains under investigation.
