Sauk Rapids police search for vehicle that hit pedestrian, fled

Authorities are looking for a vehicle that hit a pedestrian in Sauk Rapids on Monday.

Sauk Rapids police say a 17-year-old was jogging next to the westbound lane of Fifth Street South when he was hit by a vehicle at around 3 p.m.

The pedestrian’s left hip, back and leg were injured, police said, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
