Roseville cancels annual Rosefest celebration, including 4th of July event
Roseville released an updated plan for its summer event schedule on Wednesday, which includes canceling the city's annual Rosefest celebration.
The Rosefest cancellations include the city's Fourth of July Party in the Park and fireworks show over Bennett Lake, the Run and Roll for the Roses on June 27 and the Rose Parade on June 29, according to a news release.
According to the city's website, all in-person recreational activities have been canceled through at least June 7.

Starting Friday, the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department will designate recreation programs as "tentatively moving forward with modification," "awaiting more information" or "canceled."
A phased reopening of Parks and Recreation facilities — such as the Roseville Skating Center, the Harriet Alexander Nature Center and the Cedarholm Community Building — is also under development.
Right now, all of Roseville's parks and trails, the Cedarholm Golf Course, the disc golf course at Acorn Park and all tennis courts remain open for use with social distancing guidelines in place, the city said.
All updates will be posted to the Parks and Recreation website.
