Rosedale Center parking ramp wall collapses, closed for inspection

A segment of a parking ramp wall at the Rosedale Center in Roseville broke off and landed on the roadway on Wednesday afternoon, city officials said.

The chunk of concrete did not harm anyone or damage any vehicles.

“It is not clear why it fell over, but there wasn’t any indication that it was ran into by a vehicle,” City Manager Pat Trudgeon said.

The parking structure and ground-level parking are currently closed.

Structural engineers and city staff are inspecting the ramp.

City officials said the Rosedale Center remains open.
