Rollover crash kills 18-year-old in Stevens County, alcohol suspected

Authorities say alcohol was a factor in a crash that killed an 18-year-old in western Minnesota on Sunday.

The crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. in Donnelly Township.

A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says 18-year-old Payton Aaron Larson, of Herman, was headed north on Highway 9 when his 2013 Dodge Dart left the road and rolled.

Larson wasn’t wearing a seat belt and had been drinking, according to the crash report.

He died from his injuries.

No other people or vehicles were involved.
