Robbery, stabbing in Minneapolis leaves man in hospital Wednesday night

A reported robbery in Minneapolis left one man in the hospital on Wednesday night.

Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) were called to North Memorial Medical Center at around 9:50 p.m. on a report of a man who had been stabbed.

A spokesperson for MPD said the man suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound after he said he was robbed by two people on Penn Avenue in north Minneapolis.

MPD is investigating.
