Residents in Clinton, Minnesota, asked to stay away from grain elevator fire

Crews have been working for hours to put out a grain elevator fire in a small western Minnesota town.

According to the Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office, the fire started Sunday morning in the center of Clinton, about 150 miles west of the Twin Cities.

Residents are being asked to stay clear of the fire.

Chopper 5 is en route to the scene.
