Red Lake man sentenced to 9 years for child sex abuse

A Red Lake man has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison for the sexual abuse of a child.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 40-year-old Keith Allen Ehrich was sentenced Wednesday to nine years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release.

He pleaded guilty to the charge back in July.

The actual offense happened on Oct. 11, 2020, within the boundaries of the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
