UPDATE: Body of missing Zimmerman man located

UPDATE 9/8/22: St. Louis County authorities said they have located the body of a Zimmerman man who was last seen at the end of last month.
Hubbard Broadcasting affiliate WDIO-TV reported Wednesday that the St. Louis County Rescue Squad located 72-year-old James Frederick Napoli’s vehicle off of Turtle Creek Road in Itasca County.
A ground search led to his discovery in a nearby wooded area.
The cause of death remains under investigation, WDIO-TV reports.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Hubbard Broadcasting affiliate WDIO-TV says 72-year-old James Frederick Napoli was last seen at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at his cabin in Side Lake. His family expected him to head to his home in Zimmerman the next day but he hasn’t yet arrived.
When deputies went to the cabin, Napoli and his truck were gone.
He’s described as being 5-foot-9, 195 pounds with a white 2021 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck.
Anyone who sees Napoli or knows where he might be is asked to call St. Louis County dispatchers at 218-742-9825.
