Police find Owatonna runaway thought to be in Willmar

UPDATE: The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Monday that Alexa Moreno-Lopez was found safe and has been reunited with family members.

Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing runaway girl.

Owatonna police say officers have been trying to locate Alexa Moreno-Lopez since last month but haven’t been successful.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Moreno-Lopez is 15 years old. She is 5’3” tall and weighs 115 lbs, officials said. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators believe she may be with an adult family member in the Willmar area.
