Police respond to ‘experimental aircraft’ landing in Lino Lakes pond

Officers and firefighters in Lino Lakes responded to a “lightweight experimental aircraft” that landed in a large holding pond around 8 p.m. Saturday.

A news release from the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department said the pilot was the lone occupant and was not injured.

There was no damage to property reported.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
