Police officer taken to hospital for smoke inhalation after responding to Minnetonka apartment fire

A police officer was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation after responding to an apartment fire in Minnetonka.

According to the Minnetonka Fire Chief, fire crews and police responded to an apartment fire in the 10000 block of 34th Street West in Minnetonka.

No injuries were reported among apartment residents however a police officer who was first on the scene was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Around 30 people are going to be displaced due to the fire according to the chief.
