Police: Man arrested after being shot in St. Cloud

Police say one man is in custody after he was shot early Saturday morning in St. Cloud.

According to police, officers were called tot he 6000 block of Cape West Ct. for a report of a shooting just after 1 a.m.

They found that two men – identified as a 32-year-old and a 30-year-old – were roommates, and had gotten into an argument.

While arguing, police say one of the men produced a gun, and a struggle followed. That’s when they say the gun was fired, and the 32-year-old was hit in the leg.

He was taken to the hospital for what police are calling a non-life threatening injury. Afterwards, they say he was taken to the Stearns County Jail.

Police say he is being held for threats of violence.

No other details were immediately available, however police say they are still investigating the incident.
