Police investigating robbery in Dinkytown

Authorities are investigating a robbery that happened early Tuesday morning in Dinkytown.

According to a University of Minnesota Public Safety alert, it happened at about 12:15 a.m. near 15th Avenue and Eighth Street Southeast.

The report states three people in their late teens assaulted the victim and took the victim’s wallet.

The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing. No other details were available.

Minneapolis police are investigating.
