Police investigating bonsai tree thefts in Hopkins

The Hopkins Police Department is investigating two recent thefts of bonsai trees.
Both incidents took place at the same residence during the early morning hours.
Bonsai trees are of Asian descent and are popular within groups and clubs that collect them. According to police, the loss amounts to several thousand dollars.
The victims are offering a $3,000 reward if the trees are found.
