Police investigating assault, robbery near U of M

Authorities are investigating a reported robbery Thursday night near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.

According to a university alert, the robbery happened at 7:29 p.m. near Washington Avenue and Huron Boulevard.

Four men assaulted the victim and took the victim's vehicle, a black Audi, the alert said.

U of M Public Safety urged caution, stating the incident may be related to another robbery near University and 15th avenues.
