Police investigating armed robbery in Brooklyn Park

Police in Brooklyn Park are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday evening.
According to Brooklyn Park Police, officers responded to the 5800 block of Brookdale Drive North at about 7:49 p.m. There, officers found the victim, who reported a person came into her business armed with a handgun and stole the cash register.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The department said a K-9 track was unsuccessful.
The investigation is ongoing.
