Police investigating after group of teens robs victims at gunpoint near U of M campus
Police are investigating an early morning robbery that occurred Saturday near the University of Minnesota campus.
A U of M alert says the robbery happened at about 2 a.m. near 26th Avenue South and South Seventh Street.
A group of five male suspects, ages 14 to 16, approached the victims, pointed guns at them and robbed them, the alert says.
The suspects then ran away toward Riverside Park.
The Minneapolis Police Department is leading the investigation.
