Police ask for public help to solve Stevens House arsons

Police in Minneapolis are asking for the public’s help to solve three recent arsons at the historic Stevens House in Minnehaha Falls Regional Park.

The fires were set in the span of just over a month — on Aug. 30, Sept. 20 and Oct. 1.

Minneapolis Park Police says anyone who provides information leading to the identification of the person or people responsible for the fires will be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.

The department says all information, regardless of how insignificant it may seem, is important. Tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-723-2020 or calling Lt. Mark Swanson at 612-230-6561. Tips can also be emailed to parkpolice@minneapolisparks.org.
