Police: 4 victims in north Minneapolis shooting expected to be OK
Police say four people were shot after a fight erupted into gunfire Wednesday evening outside a north Minneapolis gas station.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 7:13 p.m. near the intersection of Lowry and Knox avenues, Minneapolis Police Department spokesman Officer Garrett Parten said. That call was updated to a shooting, and police arriving at the Full Stop gas station found shell casings, a gun and blood outside.
A man in his 20s who had been shot at the scene called 911 from a block away, and an ambulance picked him up and took him to Hennepin County Medical Center, Parten said. Three others — a woman in her 50s and two more men in their 20s — showed up at North Memorial Health Hospital in private vehicles.
Parten said none of the victims suffered serious injuries.
It’s unclear how many shooters were involved in the altercation.
No arrests have been made, and the shooting remains under investigation.
