Police: 3 teens hurt in St. Paul shooting

St. Paul police said three teenagers were hurt in a shooting Wednesday.

According to the St. Paul Police Department, officers were called to the 1400 block of York Avenue on a report of a shooting in the area.

Upon arrival at the scene, police said a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound in his shoulder was taken to Regions Hospital by private vehicle. Two 16-year-olds—one with a gunshot wound in his shoulder and one with gunshot wounds in one of his legs and lower torso—were also found nearby.

Police said the incident remains under investigation and that the circumstances that led to the shooting have not yet been determined.
