Police: 1 victim shot in White Bear Lake after suspects forcibly entered into a house
A victim was shot early Saturday morning in White Bear Lake after suspects forcibly entered a house.
According to the White Bear Lake Police Department, at 3:46 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at a private residence in the 2300 block of County Road E.
A resident of the house called 911 to report multiple suspects forcibly entering the house and fired gunshots. One person inside the home was shot during the incident.
Police said the victim was later transported to a hospital for injuries reported to be not life-threatening.
According to police, the suspects left before officers arrived. Currently, no one is in custody.
Police believe the incident was not a random act and do not believe there is any threat to the public.
The scene is still an active crime scene and is currently being investigated with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
