Plymouth police searching for suspect in hit-and-run that critically injured cyclist
Police in Plymouth are still searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run last month that left a teenage cyclist critically injured.
On Tuesday, Plymouth Police said the suspect vehicle is a black-pearl colored 2011 to 2014 Acura TSX with damage and missing pieces to its lower, front bumper, and missing A-pillar trim next to the front, driver’s side windshield.
The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the intersection of Rockford Road (County Road 9) and Vicksburg Lane. Authorities said the driver was heading westbound on Rockford Road, hit the 19-year-old cyclist and then fled the scene.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information about the crash is asked to call Sgt. Jeff Dorfsman at 763-509-5669.
As of Tuesday, police said the victim remained in critical condition.
