Planned Parenthood’s north central CEO resigning

Sarah Stoesz, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS), announced Friday that she plans to step aside after 20 years of leadership.

Over the past two decades, Stoesz has helped with the Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska organizations, turning them into a five-state organization that provides care for more than 100,000 people each year. During her time, Stoesz partnered with donors to get new investments in patient care, expand abortion services and help modernize facilities across the region.

Stoesz says she plans on staying until October 2022, while PPNCS looks for a replacement. The process of finding someone new will begin in January 2022.
