Pilot makes emergency landing near Flying Cloud Airport Sunday morning

An investigation is underway after a small-engine plane made an emergency landing in Eden Prairie Sunday morning.

Eden Prairie police say the pilot contacted Flying Cloud Airport around 10 a.m. and reported he was having engine trouble.

The plane then made an emergency landing in a field about one mile south of Flying Cloud Drive and Eden Prairie Road.

Authorities say no injuries were reported, and the FAA is investigating.
