People of Color Careers launches new online platform amid pandemic

The annual People of Color Career Fair couldn’t happen in person this year because of COVID-19.

So instead, the event launched a new platform called People of Color Careers.

"What the platform does is it gives Black professionals and other professionals of color a way to identify those employers who are dead serious about increasing racial inclusivity at all levels of the corporate structure, giving direct access to their recruiters and hiring managers," said Sharon Smith-Akinsanya, CEO of Rae Mackenzie Group.

The website launches Tuesday.
