Pedestrian killed in Crystal crash identified

The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Crystal earlier this week has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 66-year-old David Arthur Jones, of Golden Valley.
Pedestrian dies in 2-vehicle crash in Crystal; 36th Avenue reopened
Crystal Police said the crash happened just after noon Thursday on the 5300 block of 36th Avenue North, near Highway 100.
One of the two vehicles involved in the crash hit Jones and an onlooker attempted life-saving measures. However, Jones died at the hospital, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
