Overnight Minneapolis shooting leaves 1 injured

Police say a man is recovering from a gunshot injury following an overnight shooting in Minneapolis.

According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Hennepin Avenue just before 3 a.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting.

That’s where police say they found a man in his 50s with a gunshot injury, saying the injury was apparently non-life-threatening.

As of this time, no one is in custody for the shooting.

Police say the man was taken to an area hospital but wasn’t able to provide any details regarding the incident or what led up to it.
