Oscar Mayer Wienermobile pulled over for not following move over law
A Waukesha County, Wisconsin sheriff's deputy pulled over an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, something you don't hear every day.
According to a Facebook post, the Wienermobile driver was pulled over and given a verbal warning for not following the move over law.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office stated that drivers are required to move out of the lane closest to the vehicle when an emergency vehicle's lights are flashing. If a safe lane change is not possible or the motorist is traveling on a two-lane roadway, they are required to slow down, maintain a safe speed for traffic conditions and drive at a reduced speed until completely past the vehicle.
The first Weinermobile was created in 1936 and it has gone through several iterations since then.
