One dead after SUV crash in rural Minnesota

One man is dead after a fatal SUV crash Saturday.
According to Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch, officers responded to a report at about 2 a.m. of a rolled-over Chevrolet Suburban in Backus, Minn., which is north of Brainerd. Upon arrival they found a 26-year-old man suffering severe injuries from the crash. The man died on the scene, despite life-saving efforts from the Backus Fire Department and North Memorial Emergency Medical Services.
An investigation is underway and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Officer will perform an autopsy.
