North St. Paul names new city manager

The city of North St. Paul on Thursday announced its new interim city manager after its former city manager resigned Tuesday amid theft allegations.

Brian Frandle was named the interim city manager to replace Scott Duddeck.

Frandle has served as the city’s electric utility director for several years.

The city said it is currently reviewing a recent audit and looking at improving shortcomings identified by the auditor.

"We’re confident we can work through these issues and address any policy concerns to prevent these issues in the future," Mayor Terry Furlong said.
