North Branch police seek public’s help finding vehicle in pedestrian hit-and-run

The North Branch Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

Police say at 3:40 a.m. they received a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian hit-and-run crash along Hemingway Avenue between Highway 95 and 394th Street. The pedestrian that was hit received only minor injuries.

Police say there was no evidence left behind in the roadway to help locate the suspect and the department is asking for help from those who reside in that area who might have information on the incident.

Residences are asked to look at any video from cameras and contact the North Branch Police Department if anything is found.
