No charges have been filed yet against the protesters who tore down a statue of Christopher Columbus at the Minnesota State Capitol grounds.

Six days after the statue was torn down and five days after the Governor said those responsible would be held "Accountable," no charges have been filed. The entire event was documented by multiple cameras.

According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension continues to investigate. Once the investigation is complete it will but up to the Ramsey County Attorney's office to decide on charges.
